Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Polished Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. Antique Pewter - This finish offers the same protection as Pewter Patina but has a solid Brass base rather than steel. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion-resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Satin Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. Satin Brass - These products are made from solid brass. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. Available in-Aged Brass - This finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. Polished Bronze - These products are made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. This finish is low sheen and offers a frosted, matt look. Satin Chrome - These are crafted from a base of solid brass, with high-quality chrome plating applied to its surface. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. A high-quality matt lacquer is then applied to their surface for protection. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It offers an understated alternative to Polished Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas. External Beeswax - This is manufactured using From The Anvil’s unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. During the final stages of manufacturing, our Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel to give them their distinctive appearance. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. Much like their standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red.
