This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. External Beeswax - This is manufactured using From The Anvil’s unique anti-corrosive beeswax. From The Anvil’s manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. Polished Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. Polished Nickel - These products are manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. Much like their standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. This finish is low sheen and offers a frosted, matt look. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. Satin Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion-resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. Supplied in PAIRS complete with fixings. Available in -Aged Brass - This finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design.
