More Horizontal 3 Lever Mortice Lock
Very similar in shape and size to a rim lock, these Horizontal Mortice Locks were first used in the Georgian and Victorian times, typically in grand, or more expensive homes, where a traditional rim lock was viewed as too 'rustic.' The keyhole is located next to the knob instead of underneath it, as seen on most modern locks.
These Locks are ideal for replacements for old broken locks, or for restorers keen to get their homes traditionally accurate.
These locks are 3 Lever, and as such are ideal for internal doors. For the 5 Lever equivalent, please see the linked items below.
Please note: The Polished Stainless Steel variation has to be constructed to order, and can take up to 3 Weeks.
Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings and 2 keys.
G3051 Rebate Kits to suit this lock are also available to order below. Rebate kits are for double doors which have been cut, or 'rebated' into one another. Click here for a link to further information on rebate kits if you think you may need one.
