The Croft Hardware Reeded Casement Fastener is a reeded regency casement fastener for casement windows, beautifully hand-finished and taken from original Georgian designs from the Regency period. The Hook Plate is for use on 'flush' casement windows, where it is not possible to use the frame for the fastener to hold the window closed. Croft Hardware is a family-run business based in Willenhall, England and has a historic tradition of hand-crafting and hand-finishing the very highest quality luxury architectural hardware since 1868. The Locking version of this window handle locks by way of a subtle lug with a slot for an Allen key. This window fastener is available with either a Mortice Plate or Hook Plate. The Mortice Plate is the most common type of plate, used on standard casement windows where the fastener 'tongue' can latch into the frame. By combining traditional skills with modern manufacturing techniques, their craftsmen produce luxury fittings that are built to stand the test of time. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. This casement window fastener is available in both Locking and Non-Locking variations. This Casement window fastener features a ringed 'reeded' or 'beehive design to the end of the handle.
