This Box Lock requires a 3 lever sash lock by Union. model number J2077 149mm. these are available in SC Satin Chrome or PC PL Polished Brass. these are available on ebay. Long keys will be needed. please source these locally. the length depends on the thickness of the door + the 35mm depth through the box lock.

Condition 
Photo of the actual product. Good condition all round. The marks on the front face top and bottom of the keep are knots and add to the character of this box lock.

Fitting: These can be screwed to the door. Bolted with coach screws or make some metal straps to secure over the wooded case. this sale / listing excludes fittings.

Installation Instructions
Position the block on the door in a suitable height. usually around 1m floor to knob position
Ensure the keyhole is lower than the spindle hole

If using straps. select the position for the forged securing straps.
Drill and countersink 4 holes which will be hidden under the bars.
Fix block to door using the screws provided. Check length of screws first.
Check latch direction and alter as required.
Once positioned correctly drill holes for keyhole and spindle hole.
Fit lock into block and add knobs and escutcheons.
Fix keep to frame.
Stain as required.
