Blackened Oak Box Lock

This Box Lock has a 3 lever sash lock by Union. model number J2077 149mm.

Long keys will be needed. please source these locally. the length depends on the thickness of the door + the 35mm depth through the box lock. the lock end plates are a mismatch one aged more than the other. the brass side could be distressed / aged to blend in.

Condition 
The photo is of the actual product. Small scuffs. some light scratches but not far off as new.

Oval Knob Set – Dartington Steel Pewter Patina finish c/w roses a 2 spindles. one standard and one extra long.

Fitting: These can be screwed to the door. Bolted with coach screws or make some metal straps to secure over the wooded case. this sale / listing excludes fittings.

Right Hand also available. limited stock please check.

Installation Instructions – This is a guide only as all jobs / doors are different.
Position the block on the door in a suitable height. usually around 1m floor to knob position

If using straps. select the position for the forged securing straps.
Drill and countersink 4 holes which will be hidden under the bars.
Fix block to door using the screws provided. Check length of screws first.
Check latch direction and alter as required.
Once positioned correctly drill holes for keyhole and spindle hole.
Fit lock into block and add knobs and escutcheons.
Fix keep to frame.
Stain as required.
