These are Large solid handcrafted brass door knobs. being unlaquered brass they achieve a timeless elegance. highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail.
These knobs will age and tarnish over time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if you want to achieve a more contemporary finish.
This knob set is also available in Nickel if you are looking for a more Modern look.
These From The Anvil Prestbury Bloxwich Door Knob Sets are unsprung. are solid brass and have loose roses which enable them to be used with a rim lock or use with a mortice lock.
They have 8mm threaded spindle to take adjustment for various door thickness and lock firmly with a grub screw. The grub screw should locate on the v in the shaft and not on the threaded part. this will hold firm and not allow the knob to rotate.
We recommend that the centre of the knob is positioned a minimum of 3 inches from the edge of the door. we can also supply a latch for this see 18494 this is a heavy duty latch.
This product is un lacquered allowing the finish to mellow over time.
Supplied with necessary fixing screws.
