From The Anvil Tubular Mortice Latch Heavy Duty

Anvil Heavy Duty Latches. This tubular latch is especially designed for unsprung door furniture.

For Levers use the 2.5 or 3 inch.

For Door knobs the 4 or 5 inch case is recommended to move the knob away from the edge of the door. This prevents catching your knuckles.

The measurements in the drop down are overall case length.

Backset measurements (from edge of lock to centre of spindle)

91069 2.5 inch case – backset – 44mm (was 18299/2.5)
91070 3 inch case – backset 56mm (was 18299/3)
91071 4 inch case – backset 81mm (was 18299/4)
91072 5 inch case – backset 106mm (was 18299/5)

These are ideal for our range of handles and have a stainless steel  and striker plates included. These are reversible and have an 8mm follower.
The latches are suitable for fire rated 30 and 60 minute doors.

This is used if you have two doors side by side such as french doors, with a rebate where one door closes onto the other
