Dartington Black Door Grill Viewer 03-499 Speakeasy Grate

A very solid item comprising of a raised door grill and an opening door from inside.

Made to an original design these are cast and finished in a heavy matt powder coat.
Often seen on castles and stately homes they add a feature to an old oak door.

Also known as a speakeasy grill and grate in the USA (Speakeasy door grilles are reminiscent of the days of Al Capone and prohibition and are a beautiful focal point for any entryway.)

Door 6 inch square and fitted using black screws.  The door has a turn button to close and open and decorative stud design.
The Grill is 7 inch square and fitted using two bolts through the door and/or surface screws.

Adds a feature to an old oak door or gate.  Use with door studs for a true antique appearance.
