Description
Steel ground spikes provide the installation feature of the Cottingham Boot Scraper Steel Spikes. Hand-finished using traditional methods, it carries “Sheffield Steelworks 1930” embossed at its centre.
The scraper is intended for cleaning muddy boots and shoes in a yard or garden before entering the home. Its dimensions are 125mm in length, 250mm in height and 50mm in width. Steel and Black finishes are listed, with the Black surface described as satin. Each scraper is supplied separately.
The rustic finish is left unlacquered and develops a patina with regular use. Light rust can occur in damp environments. Light oil and fine-grade wire wool may be used for removal, while maintenance wax offers an additional protective seal against moisture.
