If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. Each lever handle is meticulously hand-hammered by our seasoned Blacksmiths, infusing every piece with a unique contemporary edge that sets it apart. Pewter Patina - They are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Available in -Aged Brass - This finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. External Beeswax - This is manufactured using From The Anvil’s unique anti-corrosive beeswax. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas.
