Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. During the final stages of manufacturing, our Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel to give them their distinctive appearance. Satin Brass - These products are made from solid brass. If the cupboard door is very heavy is recommended you use 3 butt hinges instead of 2 for extra support. A high-quality matt lacquer is then applied to their surface for protection.
