Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. It offers an understated alternative to Polished Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Polished Nickel - These products are manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating. If the cupboard door is very heavy is recommended you use 3 butt hinges instead of 2 for extra support.
