It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion-resistant properties. A base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating is applied to its surface which is salt tested to 480 hours. This is an un-lacquered finish, and as such, basically maintenance free, because nickel will not tarnish. Supplied in PAIRS complete with fixings. Polished Bronze - Manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The textured surface this creates is well suited to a wide variety of settings. It has different screw positions on the rose backplate and comes with wood screws only. Stylish and modern, it is equally suited to a new home as well as a period one.
