It offers an understated alternative to Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection and has an appropriate place in modern properties, but its warm tones also make it suitable for traditional settings. Polished Bronze - Manufactured from mild steel with a zinc electroplated finish to perfectly complement our Polished Bronze range of ironmongery. Black - A popular choice in traditional settings. Supplied in packs of FOUR complete with fixings. Beeswax - After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. Polished Chrome - Made from a base of solid brass coated with durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Antique Pewter - Offers the same protection as Pewter Patina but has a solid Brass base rather than steel. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. Available in - Aged Brass - Intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
