Description
The Kirkpatrick Gravity Door Catch operates through a simple gravity-action mechanism using a hook plate and separate catch plate.
The hook plate is fixed to the wall, while the mating catch plate is mounted to the inside face of the door. As the door opens, contact with the catch plate raises the hook before gravity allows it to drop back into the engaged position.
Finished in plain smooth black, the fitting forms part of Kirkpatrick’s Black Antique range and is suitable for restoration projects where traditional ironmongery character is required. Kirkpatrick Ltd has produced malleable ironmongery at its Walsall foundry since 1855.
