Description
Produced at Kirkpatrick’s UK foundry in Walsall, the Small Lion Head Door Knocker 2630 is cast in malleable iron using an antique-style pattern. The company has been based in Walsall since its beginnings in 1855.
The lion head provides a figurative detail for architectural schemes incorporating Antique style door furniture. Black, Pewter and Argent are the available finishes, while Kirkpatrick characterises its Antique finish by a slightly stippled effect and glossy coating.
The protective treatment consists of black paint beneath a second coat of black powder coating.
