Description
Malleable iron construction and manufacture by hand define the Kirkpatrick Smooth Finish Centre Door Knob 3372. Produced from start to finish at the Walsall foundry, it belongs to the Black Iron collection.
The larger centre-knob format was popular during the Georgian era and provides an architectural focal point alongside a letter plate and door knocker. This version has a smooth finish and remains fixed, serving as a handhold for door movement.
Black and Pewter use a two-stage protective treatment beginning with paint in the corresponding colour. Argent receives a clear protective lacquer.
