Traditionally made from handforged iron, the Spira Brass 12” Standard Handforged Latch & Hinge - Penny End is forge-blackened and finished with beeswax. The penny-end hinge profile and traditional surface treatment give the set an authentic architectural character appropriate to period homes, cottages, barn conversions and restoration projects.
The kit includes two 295mm steel strap hinges and one thumb latch set with locking pin, with matching screws provided for installation. It is specified for interior use and is ideal for ledge and brace cottage doors.
