Description

Made from handforged iron with solid construction, the Spira Brass Heavy Duty Handforged Latch & Hinge kit is specified for solid oak ledged doors. The set includes two 440mm steel strap hinges, each detailed with a penny end, together with a thumb latch and locking pin.

Two finishes are offered: a hand-applied beeswax coating over an antiqued metal base, and pewter. These treatments give the traditional hardware a character suited to rustic oak doors.

Matching screws are included with the kit. For installation into oak, the manufacturer advises drilling pilot holes before securing the fittings with the supplied screws.
