Cast from solid brass, the Spira Brass Victorian Key Hole Covered is a decorative escutcheon intended for external door applications. The covered format is designed to help prevent draught through the keyhole while also providing a finished surround for the lock preparation.
When the cover is moved aside, the flat rose beneath becomes visible. The escutcheon can also conceal joinery work around the keyhole and is secured to the door by means of a screw-on face fixing.
